Every Monday morning, for the past three years, I head up to Red Rocks and do the following exercise regimen.
- From the bottom to top of the seats – 68 rows – with no stopping, right leg only.
- Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, left leg only.
- Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, right leg only.
- Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, left leg only.
- Row 17 to top of the seats, no stopping, right leg only.
- Row 17 to top of seats, no stopping, left leg only.
- Walk down to row ~54.
- Do 4 sets of 70 lunges across row 54.
- Go to the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the seats.
- Alternating between right & left, two stairs at a time, walk to the top of the stairs. No stopping.
Do this and you’ll be ready for boarding and/or cycling season. It’s amazing.
