Jay Adams died today. Mr. Adams is the father of modern skateboarding and to watch him skateboard as a young man is like watching Jimi Hendrix play guitar live. Out of his mind and tapped into some inner power that others only dream of accessing. If you’re interested in knowing more about Jay, you only need to see one film: The documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys.
